Context

Everyone can demo extraction. Few ship features operators trust on filing-week Mondays.

Problem

AI bolted onto a form looks impressive until it silently writes a wrong field into a matter file — or until the “assistant” cannot cite where a claim came from.

Observation

The review screen is the product. Confidence and provenance must be first-class. Retrieval before generation. Human gate before system of record.

Decision

Ship OCR → classify → extract → review → remind as a pattern. Refuse silent writes. Document it in Human + AI Review.
